Paul Conigliaro - Motion Designer | Editor

Hello. My name is Paul.

I work with moving images—design graphics, animate, edit, and in general make things look nice. Editing and motion design have always been a passion of mine. I could give some long-winded story about how I wanted to change the world with my art, but in all honesty, I just love what I do and have fun doing it. It's not too much more complicated than that.

After studying at Columbia College Chicago and earning my BA in Film & Video in 2004, I moved back to Milwaukee to work at Purple Onion and Civilian Edit before officially becoming a freelancer. Since then, I have worked on projects ranging from internet-based, short documentaries to broadcast commercials to the game opening animation for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Currently, I am holding an extended freelance position at WONDER WONDER, a post-production design studio which recently opened their doors in 2009. They have afforded me the opportunity to work in motion design & editorial on several broadcast commercials, including those for the Bon-Ton stores (Carson Pirie Scott, Boston Store, etc…).

While I have been primarily working in After Effects and Final Cut Pro, I started on Avid and occasionally still get back to it here and there. More recently, I have taken an interest in 3D and color grading, in Cinema4D and Apple Color respectively.

So that's me. Take a look at my portfolio where you'll find varios motion design & editorial I have done, as well as some color grading. And feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
